A maternity photoshoot is suitable from 30 weeks pregnant and is a special way of capturing the most wonderful time in your life with images that will last forever.  It is best to book after your 20-week scan.

I will get to know you a little better before we work together to get an idea of what you are expecting from your shoot.  The shoots can be casual, dressy and can include partners and other children giving them the opportunity to be part of this amazing time in your lives. I have a selection of gowns and fabrics that can be used to style the session.

Shoots are approximately one hour and can be done at my home studio indoors or if you prefer an outdoors shoot, we can arrange that too, maybe at your favourite location.  I will do my best to make sure the shoots are enjoyable and relaxed.

Newborn sessions are best done when baby is between 7-14 days old.  They are still very sleepy at this age and it’s easier to get them into the curly posed positions.  However, you can still get lovely newborn images up to eight weeks of age.  I limit the number of newborn sessions per week, so it is best to book as early as possible – even as early as your 20 week scan.  We will pencil in the due date and then when baby arrives confirm the session.  Sessions take up to four hours and I have a variety of props, wraps and accessories that will be used.  I will consult with you beforehand regarding colour schemes and any particular props or poses you may want.  Family and siblings photos are also included.  I am insured and have been fully trained in all aspects of newborn posing, safety is my number one priority.  All accessories and props are cleaned before each session.

Sitter sessions are a favourite!  Your baby is developing their character and we get lots of smiles.  These are done when baby is comfortable sitting on their own so between 6 -9 months old and last around an hour.  I will use a few colours, props and styles to get a variety of images and parents and siblings can be included also.

What a great way to celebrate a first or second birthday with a portrait shoot and cake smash session.  They are lots of fun and generally quite messy!  We begin with portraits which can include parents and siblings too.  There can be a change of outfit for the cake smash and then the fun begins!  I will include decorations to your colour scheme but if you have a specific theme in mind let me know and we will work together to produce what you require.  Please note the cake is not included in the session.  These sessions last approximately an hour.

Approximately one hour to capture some lovely portraits of your child, special Mommy & Me or Family images.  These can be done indoors or outdoors, maybe at a favourite location.
